NEWS FOR EIGHTY NINE
rECENTLY AT pOST 89........
The AMVETS family suffered a significant loss with the passing of our friend and long-time Son's member, Robert Yorde.
Bob held many offices in Squadron 89, District 12, and the Ohio Sons of AMVETS. He left a great legacy by selflessly giving of his time and making great efforts to advance the causes of our Squad, Post, and Veterans.
In addition to the Sons of AMVETS, Bob was an active member of Sad Sacks 114. His many interests included golfing, and he rarely missed an opportunity to play. The Eagles Aerie 2252 also had an extraordinary place in his heart.
Bob will be greatly missed and held in our hearts and memories. May he rest in the loving arms of the Lord. Please keep his Wife and Sons in your thoughts and prayers.

Our Meeting in January....
Several Changes in Officers have been approved by the Executive Board Committee.
Drew Walther was appointed 1st Vice and Chaplin
Caleb Brown was appointed to the office of Judge Advocate
Both Caleb and Drew accepted the appointments and the Board approved.
We would like to remind everyone that Grandsons,
Brothers etc... are eligible for Membership!
Eligibility for membership in the Sons of AMVETS is offered to all male descendants, adopted sons, stepsons, fathers, husbands, widowers and brothers of AMVET members, deceased AMVET members or deceased service personnel who would have been eligible for membership in the parent organization, and is at least eighteen years old.
